February 18th 2009 marks a long road in a store long overdue in an area in need of affordable AND modern furniture! Brace yourself Charlotte! I only hope they look at Myrtle Beach, SC next.
"The IKEA story began in 1943 in the small village of Agunnaryd in Sweden, when its founder Ingvar Kamprad was just 17."
"IKEA offers a wide range of well-designed, functional home furnishing products at prices so low that as many people as possible can afford them. This is the idea at the heart of everything IKEA does, from product development and purchases to how we sell our products in IKEA stores globally".

Hi sappy! Thanks for reading my blog. Grand openings are usually a big ole party. I have personally never been to one but I can tell you there is always live entertainment, local celebrities and giveaways.
If you google videos you can see footage other Ikea shoppers have recorded themselves.
I REALLY want to go . . . if you do camp out & I get there don't be shy & say hello. You probably won't be able to miss me . . . that is what my tent looks like.
